In the case application cannot be made from this page, please send the abstract text on a rectangle 125 mm (width) x 175 mm (height) along with personal information regarding the matters indicated below in the form of an e-mail attachment (MS Word 95/6.0 or later) to thesecretariat at ikeda@world-meeting.co.jp.
In the case application made by mail, please send the abstract typed ona rectangle 125 mm (width) x 175 mm (height) along with personal information regarding the matters indicated below and also with the abstract on a 3.5"(90mm) floppy disk IBM formatted in the form of MS Word 95/6.0 or later formator text only format to be reached no later than December 15, 2002.
Presentation Regulations
Presenters are to register in advance simultaneous to submitting their presentation.
Presentations are limited to unpublished contents for which conclusions have been reached that are worthy of presentation.
Abstracts sent by fax will not be accepted.
Mailed abstracts without accompanying the disk will not be accepted
Written Format Regulations
The abstract text is to be prepared with one of the following templates, and after naming and saving the file (last name in English), the saved file is to be selected with "Send File" and sent with this submission form.

Leave a space for the title number measuring 15 mm (width) x 10 mm (height) in the upper left corner.
Only MS Word documents will be accepted. Otherdocuments will not be accepted.
The allotted space for the abstract is: 125 mm (width) x 175 mm (height).
Text should be typed with single line spacing, no top margin, no spaces between lines and justified on the right and left sides. using 11 pt. Times or Times New Roman font.
The abstract should be written in English within approximately 300 words including
a)
The title in capital letters to the right of the title number space.
b)
List of authors (family name, first initial and middle initial).
Underline the name of presenting author only.
c)
Affiliations: department/institution, city, country of all authors.
Super scripted numbers should be used to identify which author is affiliated with which institution.
d)
Body of the text: Organize the style of the abstract as follows: purpose/methods/results/conclusion
e)
If necessary, tables, illustrations and monotone photographs may be digitized and pasted within the space.
f)
Bacterial names in Latin should be written in italic.
g)
Leave a one line space between the title and authors' name.
h)
Leave a one line space between the affiliations and the text.
Standard abbreviations should be used. Place special or unusual abbreviation in parenthesis after the full word, at its first appearance. Use numerals to indicate numbers. except at the beginning of sentences.
Click "On-line Abstract Submission" and fill out the form according to the given instructions.
Select a topic for your abstract and a type of presentation from the selection list.
The abstract should be submitted via Internet not later than January 20, 2003 (Extended), or by mail by December 15, 2002.
Confirmation of receipt of abstract will be sent to the presenting author by e-mail.
Acceptance of the abstract will be notified in February 2003.
